Emily Ovenden/Kollveit

I first met and photographed Emily Ovenden during her Mediaeval Baebes days, and our creative paths have crossed many times since. We’ve collaborated on artwork for Celtic Legend and Pythia, and I even had the pleasure of photographing her wedding — proof that some photography assignments really do come full circle.

Years later, when Emily became a priest, our paths crossed again, this time at the Women Priests Conference and at events at St Jude-on-the-Hill. From medieval music to mythology, album artwork to marriage and, eventually, the church, it has been a wonderfully eclectic photographic journey together.
